It's about an hour drive from downtown Chicago and has everything you need to get your Autumn on! I'm talking corn maze, apple picking, pumpkin patch 🎃, apple cider donuts, hard cider flights, live music 🎶, animals, you name it. This place is a well-oiled machine.
We bought apple picking tickets online for $15 ($11 with code I88) and had plenty to choose from. There were 6 varieties available to us of which we selected 4 to take home. The other two were better for baking which I was not planning to do. 🥧
We had to try an apple cider donut and also opted for the create-your-own cider flights 🍻. Between the two of us we tried 8 different ciders/beers while sitting in Adirondack chairs listening to the live music. Simply perfect.
If you're looking for a good place to grab lunch or dinner afterwards, we drove 20 minutes to Geneva, IL to eat at Deane's Market & Deli. It's located on S 3rd St which is the cutest little area with lots of restaurants, wine bars, and boutiques. Any place around there would be great.
